All services are charged at an hourly rate of £80. While we provide estimates wherever possible, the actual time required may vary. These are examples of the services we offer, along with typical time estimates.

Child in Need Meetings
Attending Child in Need (CIN) meetings – Supporting you to ensure your voice is heard, that agreed outcomes are fair, realistic, and in the best interest of your family. We can also help to ensure that professionals follow through on agreed actions.

Time estimate: Approximately 1 hour for preparation and follow-up, plus the meeting itself, which typically lasts 1 to 1.5 hours per child.

Child and Family Assessments
Support with Child and Family Assessments – Reviewing assessments to ensure they are completed accurately, reflect the needs of all family members, and that any identified needs are matched with appropriate support or services. We can also feedback and raise any concerns on your behalf.

Time estimate: 1 to 1.5 hours to review the assessment and share feedback with you via email.

Section 47 Enquiries
Advocacy during Section 47 Enquiries and Child Protection Conferences – Providing clear, compassionate support to help you understand what’s happening during a Section 47 enquiry and what to expect if child protection proceedings begin. We will also attend the Initial Child Protection Case Conference (ICPCC) with you, take notes, and follow up with a call to ensure you understand the outcomes and next steps.

Time estimate: Time requirements will vary depending on the complexity of the case. As a guide, this will include time to review all relevant documents, a 45-minute preparation meeting with parents before the ICPCC, attendance at the conference itself, and time for a follow-up call. A more accurate estimate can be provided once the case details are known.

Child Protection Core Group Meetings and Reviews
Child Protection Core Group Meetings and Reviews – Attending meetings to take detailed notes, ensure outstanding actions are followed up, and highlight areas of progress. We will also provide a follow-up call to help you understand the outcomes and next steps.

Time estimate: Approximately 30 minutes for preparation and follow-up (including reviewing notes and sending an email summary to you), plus the meeting itself, which typically lasts 1 to 1.5 hours per child.
